Setting out from the square at 2pm, Dr Eirene Williams will lead us through the woods introducing us to the ecology and identification of some of the fungi that make this corner of Devon their home.
During this immersive event, you'll have the opportunity to learn about the essential role fungi play in our ecosystem and their fascinating symbiotic relationships with trees and plants. Uncover the secrets of their life cycles and the intriguing ways they reproduce.

We will be following footpaths which may be muddy so sturdy footwear, warm clothes and waterproofs are advised.
This event is supported by the North Devon Coast AONB's Finding Nature's Footprints organised with the Hartland Nature Society. During the walk there will be opportunity to find out more about the exciting work and events coming up in the area.
