To accompany the British Ugandan Asian @ 50 exhibition we are thrilled to welcome Bristol-based artist Harshinder Sirah for an introduction to African and Indian embroidery using authentic fabric.
Learn to embroider and paint on amazing Ugandan fabric made from pure bark, brought back from Kampala.
The embroidery you will use has stitches which stand out and are found in both Ugandan and Indian fabrics for decoration and style.
Harshinder will also talk through her work as an artist and designer.
