Come along to Quince Honey Farm on Saturday 31st January at 11am to collect your free trees! You can collect between 1-5 free trees (whips), on a first come first served basis, along with a planting guide and tree protection. Devon Wildlife Trust give these trees away at local distribution hubs during winter months, as part of the ‘Saving Devon’s Treescapes’ project. All trees available are UK native broadleaf species such as oak, rowan and crab apple and have been grown from seed in their tree nursery at Okehampton. They will be 20-40cm in height and are available for planting in private gardens or any land where you have permission.
