Inspired by the avian world of Britain, Europe and Africa, this interactive show features intricate string puppetry and live music. Come along to see the puppets in action and learn about the world of birds, including the graceful swallow, the charismatic hoopoe and the colourful bee-eater. There will also be some puppets to have a play with too! Suitable for all ages.

Flying with Strings is a new collaboration between Devon-based puppeteer Sarah Vigars and musician Louis Bingham.

From Devon With Love an Artist Development initiative by Villages In Action, which culminates in an annual scratch performance festival for Devon-based artists. The festival supports some of the region’s best talent to test new work in front of a live audience.

This event is not run by Libraries Unlimited, but is hosted at Newton Abbot Library. For more information and to book tickets for this event, head to: villagesinaction.co.uk/events/flying-with-strings/
