Learn the art of willow weaving and wreath making with experienced nature weaver Emma Capper and skilled basket maker James Dyson.

This is relaxed and playful session in the woods for adults and children aged 6 and upwards. Weave your own reindeer and mini wreaths to decorate your home this winter. All materials provided.

Please bring your own gloves and secateurs if you have them and old decorations to embellish your wreaths.

Warm clothing with weatherproof sturdy footwear advised.

This is a workshop run by the Woods for Wellness project – aiming to create subsidised woodland wellbeing services for our community and intertwining the natural healing environment of the woods with professional eco-therapeutic guidance.

Facilitators: Emma Capper is an Artist, Basket Maker, Nature and Forest Therapy Guide. She is the founder of Creative Journeys in Nature – taking you on wanderings and foraging walks in the woods. James Dyson is a Greenwood Worker, Basket Maker and Chair of Devon Coppice and Small Woods group.

Feel free to contact Emma on [email protected] or 07771515817 with any questions relating to the activity.
