Join us for an outdoor learning experience as part of Exmoor Nature Festival.
A guided wildlife walk
Join us beside the stunning Wistlandpound Reservoir for a day of fresh air, discovery and connection as part of the Exmoor Nature Festival. This is your invitation to slow down, look closer and experience the landscape in a whole new way.
We’ll set off together on a welcoming, fully guided walk around the reservoir. Along the way, you’ll:
- Discover Exmoor’s unique habitats
- Spot seasonal wildlife and learn how to identify what you see
- Pick up simple, practical navigation skills
- Build confidence reading maps and understanding the landscape
Whether you’re completely new to orienteering or already love exploring the outdoors, this session is designed to be relaxed, engaging and full of those “did you know?” moments that make nature even more fascinating. Curious children, adventurous adults and anyone who simply enjoys being outside will feel right at home.
A nature talk in our Wild Activity Garden
After the walk, we’ll gather in our Wild Activity Garden for an inspiring nature talk. We’ll share insights about Exmoor’s rolling hills, woodlands and waterways, and the species that thrive here.
It’s a chance to ask questions, swap stories and deepen your understanding of the landscape that surrounds us.
