Life Chance Trust is a small but incredibly busy charity supporting 16-25 year olds across Teignbridge, Torbay, Exeter and South Devon through one to one mentoring, delivering Life Skills workshops, career coaching and activities. The young people we support have all experienced some form of Adverse childhood experience or trauma and all of our volunteers receive training on the best ways to mentor and support them to make positive change and life choices. Through our 12 week mentoring programmes, we help young people work towards their goals, facilitating connections and helping them overcome barriers.
We are currently looking for more volunteers in the Exeter region due to increased demand from young people in the area. You will need to undertake safer recruitment checks and meet with our volunteer co-ordinator (don't worry, she's very friendly) and be prepared to undertake training and regular supervision (a monthly meet up on Teams plus some one to one sessions to ensure you get the support you need).
