Exeter Food Action is a small charity with a paid workforce of two and a large volunteer workforce of over 50. The driver role is  to deliver vital food supplies to Community Food Member (CFM) frontline organisations across Devon.

 

The driver role involves delivering FareShare food on two regular routes, on a Tuesday and Wednesday.  It will also involve collecting surplus food from local suppliers and retailers and managing incoming goods.

 

This includes storage and dispatch of goods from the warehouse to organisations receiving surplus food to high levels of compliance and service.

 

The role includes working alongside and supervising volunteers

in the warehouse and also a drivers mate on the van deliveries.
