Drop-in surgeries are for Voluntary, Charity and Social Enterprise organisations, based in East Devon, or serving East Devon communities.

Come meet a member of DCT’s team and other community and voluntary organisations in your area at one of our local support surgeries.

Talk through the challenges and goals of your organisation with an experienced and empathetic ear to listen. We all know how sometimes just getting out of your day-to-day and talking through a situation can shed new light on how to proceed.

As well as listening, DCT’s team will be able to provide you with dedicated resources, signpost you to further support, or book in some time for further detailed support in the near future.

Common areas of support identified by organisations at previous events have been:

  • Financial sustainability
  • Volunteer recruitment and management
  • Business planning and management
  • Connecting and partnering

If these are topics which you are looking for support with, or around anything else, come visit us. We support both established VCSE's as well as those in the process of startup with a new idea. All welcome!

Please select a ticket with your approximate time of arrival, this will help ensure we effectively manage our time and advice given on the day. This is just an approximation, and we understand days don't always go to plan - so please do turn up even if you miss your 'slot'.

It would be very helpful if upon booking, you could email [email protected] with a little bit of information about yourselves and what you are hoping to talk to us about.

This drop-in surgery is being held in person at Seaton Town Council.

Funded by East Devon District Council, Devon Communities Together are supporting voluntary and community organisations across Devon. Helping them to continue and expand their excellent work in the district by building their capacity and confidence, and also connecting and coordinating with other organisations, including bodies like the NHS and the local authority.
