Bitesize sessions include a short talk by guest speakers, on a range of topics as well providing a chance for Voluntary, Charity and Social Enterprise groups across East Devon to come together and share challenges, solutions and support each other.

Join us for this online workshop and networking opportunity.

  • Understand what AI is and how it works in everyday practice.
  • Learn how generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) can support key administrative and governance tasks (such as writing policies, funding applications, and reporting).
  • Master writing effective prompts that guide the AI to produce useful and accurate outputs.
  • Develop awareness of GDPR, data privacy, and ethical considerations when using AI.

You will leave this bite size session with a greater understanding of how you can use AI tools to support your organisation.

What will the training include?

In this session, guest speaker Ben Feasey will teach you the basics of what AI is and how it works, how to write quality prompts, the importance of GDPR compliance and ethical use, and how AI can streamline your everyday tasks, from policy writing to donor engagement.

No previous experience is required. We will be using Copilot and you will be shown how to access this as part of the session. Please note this training is in no way endorsed by Microsoft.

There will be opportunities to ask questions, network and discuss the topic of using AI for VCSE groups.

If you would like a certain question or theme to be raised, please state this when signing up via Eventbrite when prompted.

Depending on the amount of requests, we will choose a selection to focus on.

We are running these sessions to provide space for the sector to share its collective expertise, to network and for participants to return to their organisation with something helpful.

If you would like to delve further into a particular area, please visit our Eventbrite page and see our East Devon ‘Deep Dive’ and 'Bite Size' sessions.
