Come soar with us at Exeter Library, as we celebrate World Book Day with Quirk Theatre on 4th March 2023, from 11am to 2pm. This is a free drop in event, no booking required.
We are thrilled to present the launch of their new book, 'Mary, The Pigeon Who Never Gave Up!', based on their highly acclaimed stage production of the same name.
Quirk Theatre transported their audiences to new heights with visually stunning and inventive use of projection, puppetry, and creative set design.
Just like in the show, the book follows the heart-warming and hilarious journey of a brave pigeon, Mary, who flies top secret messages home from France during World War 2.
There will be readings of the book at 11am, 12pm & 1pm, and a collage making craft workshop starting at 10am. Children can let their imaginations take flight and create their own pigeon-inspired masterpiece.
This event is perfect for children under 12 and is completely free! Just like Mary's journey, this will be an exciting, engaging and magical experience for all.
