Step back 400 million years ago to a time long before the dinosaurs. Encounter a world filled with curious creatures that lived in the geological period named after Devon – the Devonian.

Come face-to-face with a giant armoured predatory fish that could weigh up to four tonnes, giant swimming scorpions, as well as stunning original fossils from 175 million years before the dinosaurs.

On display are some of our earliest ancestors, the first fish to waddle out of the ocean onto land. Thought to be among the earliest ancestors of all vertebrates including us!

A must-see for prehistoric monster fans of all ages!
