If you love flowers you’ll know they need lots of care and attention. Our cut flower harvesting volunteers help with the care and production of cut flowers and the harvesting of them. so, they can be enjoyed by visitors in the house and stables.
By getting involved, you could…
- Learn more about the production and care of cut flowers and flowers for drying
- Enjoy the benefits of being active outdoors surrounded by beautiful scenery
- Help us to develop the offer, with ideas on what we could plant in the cut flower border to ensure a full season of flowers that can be enjoyed in the house
- Develop your own gardening skills and enjoy meeting other keen gardeners and flower arrangers
- Learn more about Knightshayes and the work of the National Trust
You’d also be joining Europe’s largest conservation charity and the wider National Trust team proudly looking after 780 miles of coastline, over 250,000 hectares of land, over 500 historic houses, castles, ancient monuments, gardens, parks and nature reserves (including lighthouses, villages, pubs and a gold mine!).
