Grief is a part of life.

As well as joy there is loss, pain and wounding. Feelings of grief are a natural response to this.  What will we do with our grief and pain is the next question. One that elder Martin Prechtel says “grief is eagerly awaiting to hear our answer too”.

In this council, we will explore through or own listening and stories, health in relation to this question. We look forward to being with you in the Glade.

Council circle practice is an age old tradition that is a sharing method of lived experiences, focused on empathy and active listening. It enables individuals to give voice to their stories, develop mutual respect, cultivate a compassionate response to anger, defensiveness, and inequalities, as well as strengthen emotional health and resilience.
