Our controllers form the vital link between the NHS Hospitals and Hospices that need our help, and the volunteer riders and drivers who provide the service to them.

* Good telephone manner, and enjoys working with people

* Basic IT Skills required – Messaging/Data Input into a spreadsheet type system

* Working from home, so a good Mobile Phone and Data Signal essential

* Able to plan journey times using Google Maps and plan jobs accordingly where needed

* Happy to volunteer for either day (8am to 5pm) or night shifts (5pm to 8am)

* Prepared to accept occasional calls through the night (rare, but can happen)

* Prepared to commit to covering at least three shifts a month
