We are looking for Community Speakers who will:
- Engage with the local community to promote the support that FearFree provides:
- Raise awareness of Domestic Abuse- including impact on children.
- To build relationships within the local commuity- including businesses and local support organisations within local networks.
- Encourage fundraising.
- Help FearFree grow as a charity.
What do we do?
FearFree is a local charity- operating across the Southwest- based in Wiltshire. As an organisation we support individuals who have experienced domestic abuse, young people and children who have witnessed Domestic Abuse, and individuals who cause harm through Domestic Abuse. We also support individuals who have experienced sexual abuse, and those experiening stalking.
Our mission is to break the cycle of abuse.
We need you!
Domestic Abuse still "hides in the shadows"- and many individuals do not reach out for support. We need you to raise awareness of what consitutues Domestic Abuse.
This may involve:
- Visiting groups and corporates to share the work of FearFree.
- Attending and delivering talks within the community on how FearFree supports individuals.
- Growing relationships with other volunteers.
- Encouraging fundraising ideas.
