As a Collection Box Coordinator, you’ll play an important role in supporting Marie Curie’s fundraising across your local community. You’ll help place and manage collection tins and daffodil boxes in shops, businesses and community venues, making it easy for people to donate and support our work.
This is a flexible role that combines organisation, relationship-building and community engagement. You’ll build connections with local businesses, ensure collection boxes are well maintained, and help ensure funds are collected and processed securely.
What you’ll do:
- Place and manage collection tins and daffodil boxes in local venues
- Identify and approach new sites to host collection boxes
- Regularly check, replace and empty boxes as needed
- Safely count and bank funds raised
- Thank and maintain relationships with participating sites
