Due to retirement Headway North Devon are looking for a new Chair and Treasurer.
North Devon Headway is a charity based in the Salvation Army Hall, Barnstaple and works towards improving life after brain injury. We are looking for:
A Chair to oversee the charity, working with trustees, committee, and co-ordinator. Have knowledge of chairmanship. Committee meetings once every 6 weeks for approx. 1 1/2hr and AGM once a year.
A Treasurer to keep weekly accounts, banking, BACS, pay invoices and end of year accounts (Accountant does yearly audit) . Basic book keeping skills would be required.
An Administration / secretarial to help the co-ordinator with admin, promotion, and activities. Basic computer skills.
General volunteers to attend Day Centre on Tuesdays 10.30am - 3.30pm. Must be caring, patient, interact with clients and other volunteers. A friendly atmosphere to volunteer in.
