NDVS & CAG Devon (Community Action Groups) Skillshare Event at Home Farm, Arlington Court.
This event is is aimed to bring together groups & organisations in North Devon and Torridge who are supporting community projects to reduce, reuse, recycle, share, repair, compost and be all round sustainable.
The general outline of the day will be -
10 – 11.30 Optional Wellbeing walk organised by National Trust Rangers
The walks are from 1.5 - 3 miles and might be on stoned paths, or through fields. Discover woods, species-rich grasslands and stunning views, all with the support of our friendly, experienced walking volunteers -This event is free, and runs from 10:00am, meeting at Home Farm.
11.30 – 12.30 - Set up stands (if needed) Networking and Lunch BYO. Tea & Coffee provided, please bring your own re-usable cup.
12.30 - 1.30 - Guest speakers
Including Tom Humphries Project Lead Biosphere Community Animators Project

1.45 - 4.15 - 3 workshop slots including -
- Destination Organised (de-cluttering)
- Plastic Free North Devon - Repair Cafes
- Gardeners Collective - practical workshop within their space at Home Farm.
- workshop run by the National Trust Rangers
- One Barnstaple Community Food Network & Food for Thought Project
4.15 Plenary with Reflections and Update from National Trust on the development of Home Farm.
We are still in the process of finalising the full list workshops on offer, you will recieve the finalised schedule via email in the next few weeks where you will be able to sign up for the workshops of your choice.
Home Farm has only recently been handed back to The National Trust and as such is a work in progress. There are some accessability issues on the site, however please do contact us if you have accessability needs and we will do our best to accomodate you. Trampers (motorized mobility vehicles) are available upon request.
