We’re a friendly local art society with members ranging from beginners to semi-professional artists.
Brixham Art Society has been in existence since 1949 and has always attracted the very best in artistic talent from the area. The society serves as a focal point for local artists who want to develop their skills in the practice and knowledge of art. They also exhibit their work in our exhibitions.
To facilitate the aims of the development and knowledge of art we hold regular monthly art demonstrations led by professional artists from all over Devon and beyond. These artists work in all manner of mediums, including oils, acrylics, watercolours, pastels, print making, and mixed media
Our members include absolute beginners to semi-professional artists. We all learn from each other, helped of course, by our demonstrations, and our all-day workshops.
