By volunteering at our exciting new café, you’ll be contributing to the restoration of this historic House and Grounds

Poltimore House is an amazing Grade II* listed building. Thousands of people have fallen in love with it during their first visit, and many keep coming back. The House and Grounds are owned by Poltimore House Trust, a charity which now has ambitious plans for its restoration as a focal point for the arts, business, communities, and wellbeing.

We want to give our visitors a really warm welcome, including the opportunity to enjoy healthy, locally sourced food and drink while exploring the House and Grounds. That’s why we’re opening Branches Café in the former chapel building, working to create a truly exciting destination.

We need your help to make this happen!

Poltimore House urgently needs volunteers, with or without previous experience, to help run our café. All you need is enthusiasm and a willingness to offer our visitors the warmest welcome.

We provide full training and can even arrange to pick you up from the Exeter area in our minibus. You’ll meet lots of interesting new people and play an important part in restoring an important part of Devon’s heritage.

Hours are flexible, and all we ask is that you make a regular commitment to helping out.
