**Company Treasurer - responsibilities**
- Managing the CIC’s financial records and ensuring accurate bookkeeping.
- Liaising with the Company's accountants to ensure submission of annual accounts and CIC reports to Companies House.
- Overseeing banking transactions, invoices, claims and payments.
- Advising the board on financial matters, risks, and sustainability.
- Ensuring that funds are used appropriately in line with the CIC’s community purpose.
Again, in practice, it's not onerous. The Interwoven Board meets four times a year and is a small CIC. We keep meetings informal, fun and purposeful.
