BECOMING DEATH AWARE A two part Community Workshop Exeter Library, Castle Street, Exeter EX6 3PQ Saturday 9 & 16 November 10am to 2pm You can book here https://www.dyingwithgrace.co.uk/events/becoming-death-aware-2-part-workshop
Sarah and Aly welcome you in to a safe and held heart-space to explore death and dying together. They will cover holistic care at the end of life, what dying looks like, how to be with grief, leaving a legacy and what that means, planning for the end of life, and the support available at this time and beyond. This is a two part workshop : Saturday 9 November and Saturday 16 November. Both days are from 10am to 2pm. There is a cafe at the Library or you can bring your own food and drink. These workshops are funded by Dying with Grace. Sarah and Aly are asking for a voluntary donation of £25 for both days but only if you have the funds so all are welcome.
Aly has been an End of Life Doula since 2013 - being alongside people with life limiting illness, the dying, the frail, the elderly and those living with dementia. Aly co-founded End of Life Doula UK and facilitates events to bring death and dying back to where it belongs in the community.
Sarah is an End of Life Doula, Grief Tender and Craniosacral Therapist. She holds a safe, and generous space for healing. She is the founder of Dying with Grace CIC, which aims to make end of life care accessible to all those who need it.
