Learn to operate a fully-functioning Victorian watermill, and show visitors how it all works.

Manor Mill guides provide a warm and friendly welcome to all our visitors.  By sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm, our guides help others learn how the power of water has been used here for over 300 years, to grind grain (barley, wheat and oats) into animal feed or flour.

We are currently milling wheat and barley on Sunday and Wednesday afternoons, 1.00-4.00. We are looking for anyone interested in local history and who likes meeting people. You don't need to be available every week - any time you can offer will be hugely appreciated.
