Citizens Advice Teignbridge is excited to announce an opportunity for local community members to join our Board of Trustees. We are an independent local charity offering social welfare advice across Teignbridge and Devon. We give people the knowledge and confidence they need to overcome their problems. We work to improve the quality of life for people, helping them solve a broad range of issues mostly about money, benefits, energy, relationships and housing.

We are looking for passionate individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of those in our community by helping us continue to provide vital support services. Joining our Board of Trustees is a rewarding experience that allows you to:

  • Make a Difference: Play a crucial role in shaping the future of our charity and the services we provide to the community.
  • Develop Skills: Enhance your leadership, governance, and strategic thinking skills in a supportive environment.
  • Network: Connect with like-minded individuals and professionals who are equally passionate about social welfare.

Citizens Advice Teignbridge Trustee board is particularly keen to hear from people who have business, legal, income generation, charity governance or advice sector experience. But all types of experience are valuable.

As Andrew, the current Chair of Trustees commented ‘We are committed to an inclusive environment where all voices are heard and valued. We encourage individuals from all backgrounds to apply, as a diverse board enhances our understanding of the community we serve.’
