Join us on World Book Day for a free talk and Q&A with the globally renowned, best-selling author Lesley Pearse.

Torquay-based, Lesley is one of the world’s best loved storytellers with fans who span the globe. With 1 book sold every 4 minutes in the UK and sales of over 10 million copies, she has dominated the bestseller charts for the last 30 years. Yet her success is all the more remarkable because her first book wasn’t published until she was 48, and until that moment, her life was more incredible than any fiction, both heartbreaking and heartwarming in equal measure. Her latest book tells her incredible story.

Packed full of Lesley's signature wit and poignancy, The Long and Winding Road is the extraordinary story of a remarkable woman fighting against the odds to achieve her dreams.

"I couldn’t put this book down. Although harrowing at times, Lesley’s indomitable spirit shines through. What an inspiration, what a book" - Katie Fforde

Lesley is a fantastic speaker - warm, funny and chatty! Come along to hear her talk about the book, an incredible life, her work and inspiration.

Plus a Q&A, and a chance to purchase a signed copy of The Long and Winding Road.

This is a free 60 min event. Refreshments won't be provided but you're welcome to bring in your own! Spaces are limited, so book your free ticket now
