This Home Care & Sitting service was established in 1997 to provide a respite service for carers in the Teignbridge area. It is registered with the CQC and continues today to enable carers to take a much-needed break from their caring responsibilities; provide care and support for people who need assistance at home; provide companionship, enabling, escorting, personal support & care. Our staff are reliable, fully trained for the various tasks that they might undertake, and will treat you or your cared-for with dignity and respect. It is a 24 hour service; support is available in the daytime and overnight.
To enable a carer to have a break, we look after the cared-for person in their own home, or escort them out of the home for a social activity. We also provide practical help and personal care to individuals in need of assistance, helping them to continue living independently at home. Often people need short-term convalescent support after being in hospital or after having a fall.
