Ashburton Community Fridge reduces food waste by making surplus food freely available to all residents of the town. Volunteers regularly collect and monitor fresh stock from supermarkets, shops, wholesalers and growers.

Situated behind the Town Hall, it is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
