Hello - I am an autistic adult, and I run a local theatre organisation which, while it is not aimed specifically at autistic people, has several who have gravited to us.

Both from my own lived experience and working with others, I would like to offer my knoweldge and experience in making events (eg theatre shows, community events etc) accessible to autistic adults, as we often encounter barriers around sensory overloads, anxiety, and negative public assumptions, which can mean we feel less able to attend or participate in things.

I cannot guarantee that I have the answer to everything, and it must be remembered that every neurodiverse person is different, but there are simple things that can often be done to help a majority, and therefore if you feel that I can help, I would be very happy to discuss with you on email some suggestions and ideas (please bear in mind that there may be a short delay of a few days in emailing back due to other life things!)
