ABOUT MARTIN JAYE
Martin Jaye is a UK Country Music Artiste based in Kent in the UK who has spent a good few years playing as both a solo musician and with bands before embarking on his solo Country Music career.
He comes from a line of family members who were involved in the Country Music Scene, his Uncle's band "Young Country" being one of the first that toured back in the 70's. Because of this, Martin was always surrounded by the sound of a steel guitar and lots of Country Music.
After spending some of his time as a solo acoustic act promoting his self-penned material and producing his own solo acoustic albums. "Looking at a Page" and "Time Changes", he decided in 2012 to return to his first love of Country Music and he is now touring throughout the UK entertaining and playing to dancers and listeners alike. He really enjoys what he is doing now, stating that "you can't beat a country crowd to play to, they always appreciate the efforts you put in and know how to have a good time".
Martin has strong vocals and accompanies himself on guitar. He uses professional backing tracks and also offers some lighting when required. He has a great mix of Country Music to please all types of dancers and listeners and is always updating his play-lists to keep the dancers on the floor.
