2wish have recently expanded into the Devon area and are keen to meet people who would like to learn more about the charity and volunteer. The charity was set up on 2012 by our CEO, Rhian Mannings, MBE after the tragic and sudden loss of her son George and husband Paul. Rhian's aim and mission was to ensure that anyone who is affected by such tragic loss of a child or young adult 25 years and under is offered support. We are looking for volunteers in the following areas: Event Support: Help out at fundraising events like elephant walks, dips, fetes, concerts, and awareness stands. Admin & Office Assistance: Assist with assembling memory boxes, managing literature and merchandise stocks, and general admin tasks. Awareness & Support Volunteers: Attend awareness stands and community events to spread the word and offer support. Fundraising Champions: Organise local fundraising activities in your community. Welfare Officers: Attend sporting events and offer support to families and attendees. The roles are flexible and we offer training and support.
