We create working examples of what sustainable living looks like and make it accessible to everyone.

Sustainable Tiverton supports and promotes projects which bring people together to tackle the climate and environmental crises. Our projects include:

Re-Rooted surplus food cafe and community fridge: Reducing food waste by bringing food that would otherwise be wasted to people who need it

Tiverton repair cafe: Repairing household items that would otherwise be thrown out and replaced

Give and Take: Giving people a chance to pass on household items that they no longer need, and to take donated items that are of use to them

Tiverton Tree team: Planting trees to absorb carbon from the atmosphere

Tiverton Community Orchard: Creating a community space by the river with fruit and nut trees for everyone to share

Community Bees: conserving these precious pollinators

Apple Juicing Days: Turning surplus apples into delicious juice
