Avocate for my uncle Nick Foster

 

I am creating on behalf of my Uncle - Nick Foster. I am his niece.  
 
Nick has learning disabilities.
 
Nick has recently handed in his notice to Sainsburys where he has worked for the past 20 years. Since Covid his job role changed significantly and he struggled with this. He was not happy there so we thought it was best it was time for him to leave. His job role was tailored especially for him. This included helping customers with packing (which was his favourite as he loves interacting with people/customers) and sorting out left behinds to removing the cardboard boxes from the shelfs. He was not capible of till work.  
 
Nick receives PIP payment monthly and I am going to see via universal credit if he will be entitled to any other benefits due to him not working now. 
 
We want Nick to remain active so thought we would contact your team to see if Nick is suitable for any type of volunteer work or if you could point us in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated.
