We rescue sick and injured hedgehogs , we nurse them back to health and release to a hedgehog friendly environment.

We are one of Devons largest hedgehog rescues and we are based in Stoke Fleming near Dartmouth. We are run entirely by volunteers and we take in about 1300 plus hedgehogs a year. 

We are a member of the British Hedgehog Preservation Society and we have been a registered Charity since April 2020. 

We take in sick and injured hedgehogs found by members of the public , which we assess, and give appropriate treatment and care to. When fully fit the hedgehogs are released back to the wild , to a hedgehog friendly environment as close as possible to where they were found. 

We also do educational taks to community groups and schools about how they can help to do their bit to look after our native hedgehog and other wildlife in general.
