Support North Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team

The North Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team Supporters Group aims to relieve the pressure on team members for non-emergency tasks.

Our primary concern is fundraising.  All Search and Rescue teams that are part of Mountain Rescue England & Wales (MREW) are charities whose team members are unpaid volunteers. 

Without fundraising there can be no Search and Rescue Teams and no one to save the lives of lost, injured and vulnerable people. 

We help by running our stand at country fairs and events around the team's area, laying out and maintaining letterbox walks and running the occasional pub quiz or coffee morning.  We help with the vast paperwork involved in obtaining grants and awards and assist at carnivals. 

We also stand in the street with collecting tins.
