We promote seed saving and distribute free seeds every Spring. We also hold events to encourage community urban growing.
We aim to complement other horticultural groups and initiatives in Exeter by sharing knowledge about seed saving, an ancient craft on the brink. We welcome stories, insights, and social arts practices, which grow our collective knowledge about seeds. We aim to create events that follow the seed calendar (sowing, growing, harvesting and collecting of seeds) and to create a seed bank that works for our area’s soils.
