Devon Memory Café Consortium is looking to recruit new Trustees from people whose life experiences and/or work experiences provide a knowledge of Dementia to assist in our work supporting over 50 Memory Cafés throughout Devon.

We are looking for trustees from within Devon county to join our existing team and wish to invite applications from people who share our commitment to our charitable aims and core values.  We are seeking people with an interest in dementia and their carers and/or with lived-in experience of caring for someone living with the condition.

Trustees play a vital role as board members, ensuring our organisation has solid plans in progress to achieve our aims and that our funding is being used appropriately. You should be prepared to give the necessary time for: reading board papers, attending around six daytime meetings each year of approximately two hours (our meetings are a mix of in-person and online)  and to keep yourself informed about the charity’s activities
