Hi, my name is Chrissy Kemp. I am 32 years old and am a single mum to two children who are 10 and 7 years old. I am really interested in becoming a primary teaching assistant. I would love to volunteer in a primary school to gain some experience. I am also interested in completing a course in teaching assisting which I could do alongside volunteering. I volunteered in my old primary school for a couple of weeks when I was 18 years old and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was so rewarding. I loved the diversity of the class and assisting all the children with their different needs. I particularly enjoyed helping a little girl (she was 7) who was partially deaf and lacked self confidence. I got to watch her flourish in that short space of time which was just amazing! I feel this is the right time for me to give back to the community and gain some invaluable experience.
