About

Focused Light is a creative space dedicated to fostering well-being and artistic expression through photography and other art forms.

The goal is to provide a safe and supportive space for survivors, particularly men, to heal and build resilience through art-based workshops. Although there is an emphasis on photography and the many processes within that genre; I hope to harness the artistic talent within the childhood sexual abuse community and create new opportunities for individuals while ensuring collective benefit and professional collaboration. Through partnerships with professionals and other organisations, we can expand the conversation around childhood sexual abuse recovery, advocate for trauma-informed practices, and develop more effective support services. While our initial focus is on male survivors, our long-term vision is to make this service available to all adults who have experienced childhood sexual abuse.
