Community Engagement Officer for ODCTG
I am the Community Engagement Officer at Okehampton District Community Transport Group (ODCTG), a charity providing vital transport services for people in West Devon. In my role, I focus on building relationships with community organisations, supporting volunteers, promoting services, and coordinating outreach and fundraising activities. I also manage social media and communications to raise awareness of ODCTG’s impact.
I have a background in marketing, events, and community engagement, with several years’ experience working in the charity and social enterprise sector. Previously, I was Marketing & Communications Co-Ordinator at Made-Well CIC, where I managed social media, newsletters, websites, and helped to organise and run events.
My training includes digital marketing, HR, health & safety, safeguarding adults and children, child protection in education, the Prevent Duty, and dementia awareness. I am also undertaking further training in mental health and neurological conditions.
