Made-Well is a community interest company that provides support for adults and children with learning, physical, neurological and pyschiatric disabilities. Located on a farm on the edge of Hatherleigh in West Devon, Made-Well is open 7 days a week to the general public and the people it supports. It has a cafe, gardens & allotments, animals, facilities to hire and runs workshops.
I work part time at Made-Well as their marketing assistant, handling their social media and producing a weekly newsletter. I help with events, fundraising and building community relations.
I am registered with Community Links as a volunteer and in June I will be carrying out training to be a 1:1 befriender.
I am a registered volunteer with St James Primary and I help to run a baby toddler group.
I have training in digital marketing, HR, H&S, safeguarding adults and children, child protection in education, the Prevent Duty and dementia awareness. I am undertaking further training in mental health conditions and neurological disorders.
