🌟 About 2wish 2wish is a bereavement charity founded in 2012 by our CEO, Rhian Mannings following the sudden loss of her husband and one-year-old son George. The charity’s mission is to ensure that no one faces the sudden death of a child or young adult (aged 25 or under) alone. 2wish provides: Immediate support within 48 hours of a referral Memory boxes and bereavement rooms in hospitals Counselling, play therapy, and complementary therapies Support groups, coffee mornings, and a respite house The charity works closely with hospitals, police forces, and frontline services to ensure families and professionals receive the support they need one. 🌍 Expansion & New Areas 2wish is currently undergoing Phase 2 of its expansion, extending services across England, including Devon. Volunteering with 2wish Volunteers are the heart of 2wish, and there are many ways to get involved: Roles Available: Event support (e.g. Elephant Walks, running events) Office help (admin tasks, preparing memory boxes) Fundraising (bucket collections, pop-up shops) Welfare Officers (trained volunteers at major events to support families in emergencies) Volunteering is flexible—whether you have an hour a week or a day a month, your time is valued.
