Devon Connect is helping Active Devon to celebrate #OutdoorSeptember, part of Devon’s Naturally Healthy initiative supported by Active Devon, Devon County Council, Devon Local Nature Partnership, Travel Devon and Devon Climate Emergency.

Why wait until January to build new habits? Research shows that September is one of the best months to get outdoors, be active, and connect to nature – improving your mental and physical wellbeing.

You can even have a positive impact on the environment; exploring the outdoors through walking, wheeling, scooting or cycling, leaving the car at home where possible is brilliant for your health too.

No matter what your preferred activity, there’s something for everyone across Devon this September. If you want to try something new, take a look at what is going on in your community on Devon Connect or for more information on how you can get involved with this year’s #OutdoorSeptember campaign, head to Active Devon’s website
