Time Commitment: Mondays & Thursdays, 6–8 PM (plus some setup/pack-down time if you are available)
Role Type: Voluntary

About the Role:

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Volunteer Youth Club Assistant to support our twice-weekly youth club sessions. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people while gaining valuable experience in a busy, energetic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Youth Workers – Assist in the smooth running of sessions, helping to create a safe, welcoming, and engaging space for young people.
  • Engaging with Young People – Encourage participation, chat with attendees, and build positive relationships.
  • Helping with Activities – Support the setup and delivery of games, sports, arts & crafts, and group discussions.
  • Supervision & Safety – Help ensure young people are safe and following club rules.
  • General Assistance – Assist with setting up before sessions and tidying up afterwards.
  • Positive Role Model – Demonstrate respect, inclusivity, and encouragement at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Friendly, approachable, and able to engage with young people.
  • Reliable and able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
  • Willingness to get involved with activities and support the club’s needs.
