Can you help with professional expertise to provide a range of therapies for Hospiscare patients for our specialist care?
Location Inpatient Unit, Searle House, Exeter: Flexible position, any weekday for a 2 – 3 hour session.
Kings House, Honiton: Friday mornings 09:45 – 13:15
Highview Gardens, Exmouth: Wednesday mornings 09:45 – 13:15
Market Walk, Tiverton: Friday mornings 09:15 – 12:15
Typical activities include:
- Attend on the regular day, time and venue agreed.
- Provide complementary therapy treatments in line with what has been risk assessed and approved by Hospiscare. This includes using only approved oils/blends.
- Make appropriate notes regarding the treatment provided on our in-house record system.
What we’re looking for:
- A minimum of 6 months experience, post-training, in a professional or semi-professional position, with a Level 3 Diploma such as ITEC, IIHHT, VTCT in Massage, Indian Head Massage, Reflexology.
- A minimum requirement for two skills from the following: massage / reflexology / aromatherapy / Indian head massage
- Membership of a professional body such as FHT, AOR,
- Public liability and malpractice Insurance to practise.
- The ability to use Zoom to attend supervision and team meetings
- Good listening skills, without counselling or offering advice
- Empathy and reliability
