What to expect from a placement at NDVS?
A placement within NDVS will give you an all-round experience of working in the voluntary sector.
You can expect to get involved with the following:
- General administration support (e.g. replying to emails, scheduling meetings, answering the telephone)
 - Support social media, marketing, and promotion for NDVS and Volunteer groups.
 - Support to organising NDVS events and attend community events to raise the profile of volunteering.
 - Administration support for Devon Connect.
 - Support to updating our website.
 - Attending meetings as required.
 - Other office admin tasks to support the team and hosted projects.
 
What skills we are looking for?
We are a nurturing environment that encourages people to take ownership of their placement. Therefore, the following skills would be beneficial:
- Excellent organisation skills
 - Teamwork
 - Communication skills
 - Someone who takes initiative and who has an interest in the voluntary sector.
 - Someone with a basic working knowledge of computers (additional software training will be provided).
