Position: Beaver Team Member or Cub Team Member, ( previoulsy known as Leaders)
Location: 1st Chivenor Scout Group, Braunton.
About Us: We are a vibrant Scout Group dedicated to providing young people with opportunities for adventure, learning, and personal growth. Our Beaver Scouts (ages 6-8) are eager to explore, discover, and have fun!
Role Overview: As a Beaver or Cub team member, you will be responsible for planning and delivering an exciting program of activities for our Beaver or Cub Scouts. You will work with a team of volunteers to create a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for the children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and leading weekly meetings and activities.
- Encouraging and supporting the development of Beaver or Cub Scouts.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants.
- Collaborating with other leaders and volunteers.
- Promoting the values and mission of the Scout Association.
Qualifications:
- Enthusiasm for working with young children.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- No prior experience required – training will be provided.
- Commitment to the values and mission of the Scout Association.
