Our modern Gym at Westbank, The Healthy Living Centre, provides a range of equipment suitable for all fitness levels. Our team will be on hand to support you through your fitness journey, should you wish, or be available to offer support as and when needed.

Saturday: 9:00am – 1:00pm

A membership with the Gym at Westbank means that not only do you reach your fitness goals, but you enable other people to receive health and fitness support, as a proportion of your membership fee contributes to the charitable aims of Westbank.

- Gym Session x1: £6.00
- Exercise Class x1: £6.00
- Gym Only, 1 Week Trial: £10.00
Monthly Memberships:
- Gym Only, unlimited use of the Gym: £22.50

Annual Membership:
- Gym and Classes, unlimited use of the Gym and Classes (excludes bootcamp and Pilates), with a free Pro upgrade: £385.00

GP Referral Programme:
Supporting YOU to improve YOUR health and independence
We work closely with local GP’s and Health Professionals to provide patients with the support they need to make changes to improve their health and wellbeing through Gym based group programmes individually tailored to your needs. You will find this program beneficial if you have:
- Anxiety, Depression, Stress
- Arthritis
- Asthma
- Atherosclerosis
- Balance Difficulties
- Bone and Joint Problems
- COPD
- Diabetes (Type 1 & 2)
- Heart Condition
- Hypercholesterolemia
- Hypertension
- Lower Back Pain
- Obesity
- Osteoporosis
- Parkinsons Disease
What is involved?
Once we have received your referral and completed questionnaire, we will book you in for a one-to-one session with a Westbank referral exercise specialist who will review your answers and run through a short in-person assessment with you. This allows us to create an exercise programme tailored to you and your needs.
You will then be given a start date for your exercise class which will run twice a week for ten weeks.
We will need to take some very basic measurements and ask you to complete a few simple exercises at your assessment. We advise that you wear suitable clothing and shoes.
Your Progress:
At the 5-week stage we will take the opportunity to see how you are progressing. Together we can assess if there needs to be any amendments to your programme and also how you feel you are doing.
At the end of the programme, we will invite you to take part in a final one-to-one assessment. We will repeat some of the tests from the initial assessment so that you can look at your progress and give the team valuable feedback on how you have benefitted from the sessions. It might be that at this stage you feel that you would like to continue with another block of sessions to maintain and improve your health outcomes or join our Gym at Westbank.
