The Involve management committee is made up of a small group of Trustees and the Chief Officer that meets four times a year typically for two hours, face to face and online. One meeting is usually combined with our Annual General Meeting.
Typically, this volunteer role will entail a maximum of 20 hours per annum depending on how involved in projects you become.
The role will appeal to someone who wants to help govern a charity and give their time, skills, and expertise to help others and make a difference in their community.
We are lo0king for a new Trustee who has gained knowledge and skills through direct involvement in the voluntary sector, the public sector, or business, with:
- the ability to think creatively and strategically, exercise good, independent judgement and work effectively as a board member with other trustees.
- effective communication skills and a willingness to participate in discussions.
- an ability to challenge current thinking, the method of governance and management of the organisation in a constructive manner.
We are looking for someone with an understanding and experience of the following:
- Finance – with expertise in accounting, budgeting and finance who would be interested in taking on the role of treasurer.
