"Join us for our free Pride of Place photography group from 11am to 1pm on the first four Mondays in June 2025 at Exmouth Library. There are four sessions in total and you are welcome to join as many as you wish.
Our photography expeditions invite you to explore and document your everyday world, highlighting both its beauty and the aspects you wish to change. Whether you attend just one or all four sessions, you will select three of the images you have taken to contribute to a celebratory public photography exhibition at the end of the project.
Exmouth Library is fully accessible and we welcome those with mobility difficulties to take part in the activity. Please contact us if you would like to discuss your particular needs. With cameras provided and no prior experience necessary, everyone has the opportunity to express their unique perspective.
After each outing, we'll gather in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere, complete with hot drinks and cake, to review and share our work. You'll gain new skills, make friends, and advocate for community accessibility, all while celebrating your pride of place.
The sessions will take place from 11am to 1pm on the first four Mondays in June (2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd). Hot drinks and cakes will be provided free of charge but please do feel free to bring a packed lunch if you wish."
