We are looking for a vistor guide for the nissen hut or Dunkeswell unit from 11am - 4pm, with another volunteer on a day; every week or every other week.

Main Duties:

Looking after visitors as they come in,selling a small amount of souvenirs and used books and keeping an eye on people so they dont run off with artefacts. There is an introductory video that you can show to vistors also.

The history is all around you on the walls but you would go with an experienced person for a couple of weeks first anyway, maybe drawing on your existing knowledge. Keeping score of how many people come in and totting up the donations at the end of the day, ready for collection.

We also have small re-enactor camps and events during the summer at the Nissen Hut and weekends are a favourite time for that.

Venue

Heritage Centres, EX14 9RD

When: Every week

11am - 4pm - please get in touch with your availability
